Description
Like dissolves like. This physical rule is the essence of cleansing oil. When lipophilic molecules bind to oxidized sebum, SPF, and pigments, they dissolve them, and the milky emulsion formed with water washes everything away without tightness and without harsh surfactants.
DR. ALTHEA Gentle Pore Cleansing Oil is based precisely on this: precise, dermatological thinking and a philosophy of gentleness. The formula combines light ester oils and squalane, which dissolve impurities but do not oversaturate pores. A balanced ratio of non-ionic emulsifiers (HLB balance) allows the oil to instantly transform into a fine emulsion, forming stable micelles – these ‘capture’ sebum plugs and makeup, leaving the barrier supplied with lipids.
Result: cleaner pores, soft, elastic skin, and no oily film sensation. The formula is focused on tolerance – without excessive intensity of fragrant components, with antioxidant protection (e.g., tocopherol), and a non-comedogenic oil profile, such as sunflower or grapeseed fractions. This combination helps maintain the hydrolipidic layer and reduce mechanical friction during cleansing. In short, clean without aggression. Longer – even cleaner.
- Deep, yet gentle pore cleansing: lipophilic phases purposefully dissolve oxidized sebum and SPF, helping reduce the formation of blackheads.
- Quick emulsification: non-ionic emulsifiers create fine micelles that wash off easily – without residue, without tightness.
- Barrier respect: squalane and light esters restore skin smoothness, do not clog pores, and leave a balanced, non-shiny surface.
- Antioxidant protection: tocopherol helps neutralize oxidative stress, which contributes to comedone oxidation and dulling of skin tone.
- Suitable for daily use: a stable, skin-mimicking lipid profile is ideal for combination, oily, and sensitive skin, as well as for routines with stronger active ingredients.
Science-backed, skin-feel validated. DR. ALTHEA Gentle Pore Cleansing Oil conveys the brand’s direction: precision without harshness, clarity without noise. Cleansing that relies on the logic of chemistry and skin physiology. Because a healthy barrier is not only about comfort but also better absorption of other products. And when pores are clean, the entire routine works more effectively.

Usage
Start with dry hands and a dry face. Dispense a small amount (1-2 pumps) of DR. ALTHEA Gentle Pore Cleansing Oil – a gentle pore cleansing oil onto your palms, then gently massage it into your skin in circular motions to dissolve makeup and impurities, paying special attention to areas with clogged pores. Add a little water to your face and continue massaging – the oil will transform into a milky emulsion. Finally, thoroughly rinse your face with lukewarm water until no product residue remains, and continue with your usual skincare routine.
