Description
Daily cleansing should not compromise the barrier. This idea is brought to the forefront here: skin must be clean, but not depleted. The CELIMAX philosophy is clear from its name – „cell + max“: a maximum balance of respect for cells and skin comfort, without excess or fuss. The „Dual Barrier“ concept speaks of double support: protecting the hydrolipidic layer and maintaining microbiome balance. In short: cleanliness without compromise. At length: scientifically proven solutions that work together.
CELIMAX Dual Barrier Mild Gel Cleanser – a light, clear gel that cleanses away impurities, UV filter residues, and smog, without overstating its power. Its base consists of gentle surfactants: non-ionic and amphoteric compounds boast a low protein denaturation potential, thereby less disrupting the corneocyte „cement“ and causing less irritation. A balanced pH close to the skin’s physiology helps protect enzymatic barrier activity, while the gel texture ensures even distribution and easy rinsing without a drying, tight feeling.
The formula combines humectants (such as glycerin or hyaluronic acid), which draw water into the stratum corneum, and calming components (such as panthenol or allantoin), which help to curb redness and reduce post-cleansing discomfort. The barrier logic is based on a skin-mimicking lipid architecture: the scientifically discussed 3:1:1 principle of ceramides–cholesterol–fatty acids shows that the correct proportion promotes the restoration of a compact, elastic stratum corneum structure. The „Dual Barrier“ concept is oriented in this direction – protection today and resilience tomorrow. An additional focus on the microbiome: gentle cleansing and a non-aggressive matrix of moisturizing agents reduce the risk of microbiota imbalance, which directly correlates with less frequent irritations.
- Gentle, yet effective hygiene: removes daily impurities and excess oil without leaving a „dry film“ sensation.
- Barrier respect: low irritation potential, pH compatibility, and lipid logic principles.
- Moisture maintenance: the humectant matrix reduces transepidermal water loss after cleansing.
- Microbiome awareness: gentle surfactants help prevent microbiota imbalance.
- Dermatologically rational: suitable for daily use on sensitive skin, prone to redness or dryness; compatible with active acids or retinoids in a shared routine.
- Texture and feel: a lightly foaming gel, rinses off without residue, leaves skin feeling comfortably „clean, not stripped.“
Result: a clean surface, a stable barrier, calmer skin. This is the CELIMAX approach – clear composition, respectful quantities, maximum cellular tranquility without aggression. Daily. Reliably.

Usage
Dampen your face with lukewarm water, dispense a pea-sized amount of CELIMAX Dual Barrier Mild Gel Cleanser onto clean palms, add water and gently lather, then gently massage your face and neck for 30–60 seconds, avoiding the eye area; rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat dry; use morning and evening or as needed, and after cleansing, continue with your usual skincare routine (toner, serum, moisturizer; during the day, follow with SPF); For extremely sensitive skin, perform a patch test on a small area of the skin prior to first use.
