Description
Acid exfoliation here is combined with the logic of a rice ampoule – not to “polish to cleanliness”, but to recalibrate the skin surface cycle so that light is reflected more evenly, and the barrier remains calm.
DR. MELAXIN Peel Shot Exfoliant White Rice Ampoule formula is conceived as a two-pronged system: controlled exfoliation frees the accumulated “plates” of the stratum corneum cells, while rice-derived brightening and texture-smoothing components fill the gap where skin typically reacts with tightness or roughness. The manufacturer’s choice – the “peel shot” principle – allows the acids to act purposefully but not dominantly: instead of an aggressive acid profile, emphasis is placed on regularity and the stability of the skin’s feel. In this context ceramides become not a decoration in the formula, but a logical counterweight to the increased background risk of transepidermal water loss during exfoliation: they reinforce the lipid matrix so the surface feels fortified after peeling, not “thin”.
- exfoliating acids: reduce surface roughness, help reduce the conditions that lead to clogged pores, visually even out texture
- white rice complex: focused on radiance and even light reflection, gives the impression of “clean” skin without a drying sensation
- ceramides: support barrier integrity so smoothing doesn’t come at the expense of comfort
The sensorial profile is very “ampoule-like”: the liquid is light, a clean milk–pearl shade, without an intrusive scent (if a scent is noticeable, it more closely resembles sterile laboratory neutrality than perfumery). The texture glides without stickiness, spreads into a thin film and absorbs quickly, leaving a gently satiny, “polished” finish. When touched the skin appears smoother not because of an oily layer but due to reduced micro-roughness – as if the surface has been evened out.
The packaging speaks the same language as the formula: ampoule aesthetics, a clear dosing rhythm, hygienic closure. Material quality and airtightness matter not only for convenience – acidic blends and brightening components retain their profile more stably when air contact is minimal, and the dose stays precise. The visual identity is restrained, clinical, aimed at an impression of clarity, not noisy promise-driven communication.
DR. MELAXIN’s direction in this product reads like an evolution from the classic “peel” toward a more everyday, barrier-respecting format: the rice theme here is not folklore, but a transfer of Asian cosmetic traditions into the discipline of acid exfoliation, where the priority is not a momentary shock of effect, but the stabilization of surface behavior.
In everyday use the value is very concrete: smoother texture, more even light diffusion and a tidy, comfortable sensation – precisely the combination often missing from exfoliants when they focus solely on intensity.

Usage
Apply DR. MELAXIN Peel Shot Exfoliant White Rice Ampoule to clean, dry facial skin (avoiding the eye and lip area), spread evenly and leave on for 1–3 minutes the first time, later, if the skin tolerates it well, up to 5–10 minutes; if strong stinging or redness occurs, rinse immediately with lukewarm water; use 1–2 times per week, after use apply a moisturizing cream, and during the day always use SPF 30–50.
