APOTHE UV Cera6x Lacto Aqua Sun Essence SPF50+ PA++++ – hydrating sun essence with a six-ceramide system
APOTHE UV Cera6x Lacto Aqua Sun Essence SPF50+ PA++++ is a high-protection facial sun essence created for those occasions when daily UV protection should not come at the expense of skin comfort. The product’s concept is clearly reflected in its name: “Cera6x” refers to the six types of ceramides in the formula, while “Lacto” points to Lactobacillus ferment lysate. This SPF50+ PA++++ formula combines sun protection with ingredients that help support hydration and the skin barrier.
Six ceramides – not just a decorative name, but the core of the formula
What sets this essence apart is its clear dual focus: modern UV filters help protect against sun exposure, while the Cera6x system enriches the formula with lipids similar to those naturally found in the skin barrier. It combines Ceramide NP, ES, AP, NS, NG, and EOP with cholesterol, making it a meaningful choice when you expect more from a sun-protection product than a lightweight texture alone. Lactobacillus ferment lysate complements the formula’s hydrating side, making the product feel more like a lightweight step in everyday skincare than a heavy SPF cream.
- SPF50+ PA++++ protection: the formula contains several organic UV filters, including Ethylhexyl Triazone, Drometrizole Trisiloxane, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine.
- Cera6x complex: six types of ceramides, together with cholesterol, help support skin-barrier comfort and reduce the feeling of dryness that can sometimes be intensified by intense sunlight or environmental factors.
- Hydration-supporting base: niacinamide, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, and acetylated sodium hyaluronate contribute to a smoother, more hydrated feel.
The essence has a lightweight, watery texture that spreads thinly and absorbs quickly, leaving a silky, non-sticky finish with a subtly brighter appearance and no white cast. It fits naturally into a morning routine as the final skincare step before going about your day. APOTHE UV Cera6x Lacto Aqua Sun Essence stands out because the six-ceramide concept is not merely a detail in the name—it consistently complements the product’s primary purpose of protecting the skin from the sun.
Usage
APOTHE UV Cera6x Lacto Aqua Sun Essence SPF50+ PA++++ apply generously and evenly to clean skin as the final step of your skincare, 15–20 min. before sun exposure; for face and neck use an adequate amount (about 2 finger-length strips), spread over the face, neck and ears, don’t forget the hairline; if needed, it can also be applied over makeup; reapply every 2 hours, also after swimming, heavy sweating, towel-drying or washing; avoid contact with the eyes, if it gets in rinse thoroughly with water.
